Darts and Cribbage

June 1983 The finals of the British Legion Darts, Cribbage, Dominoes 

The annual finals of the Chinnor and District British Legion Darts, Dominoes & Cribbage League were held in the village hall on Friday 10th June 1983.  A very enjoyable evening was had by all our very welcome supporters.

Thanks to our very able and much appreciated organiser Mr Harold Hodges a fine display of trophies and awards were much admired.

Refreshments were served and thanks are extended to Mr & Mrs Buckingham and their very willing helpers also Rud of the Bird in Hand who with his able bar staff provided the liquid refreshments.

Thanks must also be extended to Mr John Foley who very kindly acted as 'Master of Ceremonies' announcing all the events as they took place.  A disco followed the finals also provided by John Foley and was very much enjoyed.

Thanks also go to all the other helpers who made this another very memorable finals night.  See table of winners
